The first MoodleMoot Mishima will be held this summer at the Nihon University College of International Relations (http://www.ir.nihon-u.ac.jp/) in Japan. The event will be conducted and hosted by the English Language Program of NUC (presentation in Japanese are welcome).
This will be the second Japan-based Moot in 6 months following the successful Hakodate Moot which concluded this past Valentines Day (February 14th, 2010): http://vle.c.fun.ac.jp/moot2010/.
The conference will be a venue for learning and sharing information and research about Moodle use in educational settings. Anyone interested in Moodle is welcome to come and learn about different methods of using Moodle in classrooms, see showcases of Moodle courses, and listen to a variety of presentations related to the use of Moodle in program administration, testing, learning, and teaching. There will also be an area where publishers will be showcasing their latest offerings related to CALL, the Internet, and online teaching and learning.
Additionally the English Language Program is using the Moot to unveil a new Plugin/Module for Moodle which will be released in conjunction with the conference.
