A new video was released over the weekend that shows the Moodle4iPhone site as rendered on an Android handset.  The video (unedited) runs a long 9+ minute, but it shows the user accessing the site and easily navigating between activities and resources and even grades.

It looks like Android will be supported sooner rather than later, which is great for users of the open source mobile technology.

For those of you who have an android phone, try-out the demo-site we created initially for the iPhone, we have added additional coding to give access to android phones, so try it out, but remember these are just the first preliminary steps in the recoding… so do not expect everything to work for the Android phones yet.
