iTeach.org: Free Moodle hosting and email for teachers

iTeach.org has a much more conservative hosting approach, only providing services to verified (by phone) teachers.  Hosting for teachers, by teachers according to the site,

iTeach.org provides this web hosting to teachers free of charge. Teachers, Administrators, Students and/or Parents can request the free hosting service. Once an account is created, users are given an ftp account with 100mb of space to host any school files or classroom projects.

While only 100MB, this service could be a great resource for teachers wanting to use Moodle employed by schools that do not offer the service (or offer a different LMS).

Unfortunately, as I’m not a teacher I have not (yet) been able to test the service.  As you can see by the map below, teachers around the country have already discovered this service.
